Artemisia Fort

Artemisia Fort was a fort in the Highlands of Asklepiades on the island of Kos, Greece. Build to protect Astypalia City and Kos as a whole, it was occupied by a sizeable military force.

During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the fort, killed their captain, burned war supplies and claimed their valuables.
