The Aliki Apogee

The Aliki Apogee was the highest spot in the Aliki Quarry on the island of Thasos, Greece. During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra the Eagle Bearer climbed on top of a crane at this spot to survey the surrounding environs.[1]
