Albert Einstein (1879 – 1955) was a German-born Jewish theoretical physicist best known for developing the theory of general relativity.

Biography[edit | edit source]

From 1908 to 1909, while working at a patent office at the University of Bern, Einstein would also draw inspirations to his theory of general relativity.[1]

In 1921, Einstein was photographed holding a lecture in the Austrian city of Vienna.[2]

Legacy[edit | edit source]

In 2012, he was included in the tenth Cluster puzzle left by Clay Kaczmarek inside the Animus, the puzzle in question gave the hint "A product that we make without hands or machines," and required the selection of five images depicting children, of which Einstein was excluded from.[2]

In a November 2013 email from Abstergo Entertainment employee Kama Neron, they suggested exploring non-violent memories, such as someone who worked in the patent office alongside Einstein. However they were shut down by Evan Dean, who thought that "reliving the memories of the guy who sat next to Einstein as he bit his nails while working out the finer details of General Relativity in his head" would not earn back 1/10th of the money that their other products make.[1]

In 2014, the Helix database later described him as the man with the best ability to explain the universe, and that the person who came closest previously was Antoine Lavoisier who was regarded as the greatest chemist of the 18th century.[3]
