The Staff of Sehetep was the staff which belonged to Sehetep, a priest who served in the Temple of Sobek in Krokodilopolis, Egypt. Dedicated to Sobek, the Egyptian crocodile-god of the Nile, the staff was saturated with incense and blood.
In 48 BCE, the staff ended up in the hands of the Medjay Bayek of Siwa after he assassinated the corrupt priest in the temple complex.[1]
