Hidden Swamp

The Hidden Swamp was a swamp and a training ground for the Japanese Templar Nowaki that was located in northern Sumoto in Awaji, Japan.
History[edit | edit source]
In 1585, the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke followed Nowaki from Sannomiya Shrine towards the swamp. Entering the grounds, they began to dodge Nowaki's gunshots and made their way around her traps. After some time, they looked intensively and were able to distinguish Nowaki from her decoys. Weakening Nowaki, they soon climbed the watchtower where Nowaki made her last stand. Confronting her, they assassinated Nowaki, ridding her master and fellow Templar Kimura Yukari of her ambusher. Before leaving, they recovered a spare teppō Little Helper and a note about her late sister Suma's kusarigama and its location.[1]
