Hemon (died 70 BCE) was a senior Medjay, who took residence in Djerty, Egypt.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Capture and death[edit | edit source]
In 70 BCE, a fellow Medjay, Sabu of Siwa, visited Hemon to warn him of an assassin who was hired to eliminate the Medjay bloodline. Sabu later left to search for the said assassin. Unfortunately, the assassin found and captured both Hemon and his son, Sabestet. After being interrogated, Hemon and Sebestet were both executed by the assassin, who learned that Sabu and his son, Bayek, were the last of the Medjay.[1]
