Augeias

Augeias was a king of Elis in Greek mythology.

His claim to fame is as the architect of the labours of the legendary hero Herakles. Augeias tasked the hero to clean out the king's stable, which had never been cleansed before.[1]

Trivia

  • According to some versions of the stories, Augeias was a member of the Argonauts.
