The following page is an apprentice assignment page, which acts as a connection between the Apprentice, Odranoelluta, and their Master, Nostalgia AC. It exists as an external talk page, aimed at dealing with all aspects of the apprenticeship. Only the above mentioned users and the staff have permission to converse here. Any outside interference will result in an immediate ban from the wiki.
Your first assignment, Odranoelluta, involves a revamp of the Interrogation article. In its current state, it contains a lot of out-of-universe (OOU) content, is unsourced, and poorly written and formatted. Those being the major issues on the page, here are your goals and main focuses for this assignment:
Removal of all OOU content.
Rewording to have the wording be in a clear, easy to read historical context, like the rest of our wiki is written. Make sure it is written in third person as well.
Addition of source(s). Make sure any and all Trivia and the main body of the article is sourced accordingly.
Remove any unnecessary/restricting images or Trivia. See if you can find better images for the whole article.
Fix the formatting so that the article contains a History section rather than a Method section.
Well, those are the major things that need to be done. If you need any help, just ask. Please provide me with brief progress logs when you feel you've done a good amount of work on the article and feel I should note that, and provide me with a detailed "final log" when you feel the article is done. Final logs should be a complete listing of all the work you've done to the article, so I know, specifically, what to look for when evaluating your work.
Once you've finished the assignment (no rush), please post here so I can evaluate your work. There's no deadline for this assignment. Thanks. --NostalgiaLet’s talk. 00:54, March 22, 2012 (UTC)

Apprentice, I've noticed you've been editing a lot and creating articles, but you haven't done much in working on your current assignment. Know that a current assignment should be your first priority, and that it should come above other edits. Also, you told me that you have exams, but you edit a good amount regardless. If you have this available time, work on your assignment first before focusing on other edits. If it's help you need, however, ask me, and I can provide aid. --NostalgiaLet’s talk. 22:03, March 25, 2012 (UTC)
For your new, real first task, you have to revamp the Forlì page. It contains a lot of information that needs to be reformatted and rewritten. Here are the main focuses for this revamp:
Reformat page to be in line with the Manual of Style and look like other city, location articles. The Venice article can provide some help with formatting, but do not go as in-depth as that article does.
Fix references to be cleaner and be more "together."
Remove any unnecessary or poor quality or badly formatted images. You can replace them with better images or not.
Add some high quality, good images to either the gallery or the article body. It's up to you.
Clean up the Trivia, Gallery, Landmark, and Assassination Target sections. You can format them like the Venice article does.
Well, that's your work. Remember to ask for help if you need it, and look at good city articles if you're in doubt or unsure. Also, remember to give me updates and keep me in the loop about your work here, and not on my talk page or anything. Thanks. --NostalgiaLet’s talk. 16:52, March 27, 2012 (UTC)

Hey Master Nos, just wanted to inform you that I think I've finished this assignment. I wasn't sure if I should replace the present article with my edited one so I've only edited in my sandbox. Here is a log of things I've added/changed:
I've changed the body of the article so that it doesn't have a "Database entries" section but a "History" part with different ages.
I've added photos/pictures to both the body and Gallery section.
I've added a couple of Trivia but removed the first trivia point in the existing article as I thought it was irrelevant.
I've edited and added references.
I've expanded on the "Landmarks" section too.
Well, that's it. Thanks.--OdranoellutaTalk 12:58, March 30, 2012 (UTC)
Alright, the article looks good. Here is my feedback:
Remember to edit the article one last time solely for spelling and grammar. I found a lot of small, spelling errors that you could have caught had you rechecked it one last time.
Reference tags are not needed for an article like this with basically only one source. When it only has one source, create a "Source" section like I did with just the link to the source.
When capitalizing section and article titles, only capitalize proper nouns (Venice, Third Crusade, Templars, etc.)
The reference/source section should always be the last section, behind everything else.
Images are not really needed for sections like trivia or landmarks.
Make sure the trivia section is trimmed and more worthwhile. I found a lot of excess, irrelevant information there.
Well, those are basically my comments. Overall, you did a good job with the article, and have earned yourself a promotion, which you'll see in one of those userboxes of yours. I'll post a new assignment soon. Good work, Apprentice. --NostalgiaLet’s talk. 13:32, March 31, 2012 (UTC)

Hey there, Odranoelluta, nice to meet you. I believe we've talked a little on the IRC, but here's a brief, basic introduction:
-Feel free to call me Nostalgia AC, Nostalgia, Nos, or anything else related to my name. Master's fine too, but you don't always need such a formal title.
-I completed an apprenticeship myself a little over a month ago, so I know the process and work and such of being an Apprentice.
Well, those are the very basics about myself. I'm looking forward to helping you out during your apprenticeship, so don't ever feel nervous about asking a question or asking for help. I'm here to support and mentor you, so asking good questions would really work to benefit you in the long run.
If you need help with an assignment and need to ask a question, post it in the comments section (if I'm not on the IRC) of that particular assignment and I'll attempt to reply as quickly as I can. I can also help you with any independent work you do (i.e. revamps outside of the apprenticeship), so feel free to ask for help about any of those things as well.
Also, with regards to your apprenticeship stuff, know that this page, the Pigeon Coop, deals with everything related to your assignments and work; the Progress Log is where other Staff members and I keep track of your completed work and post our comments and such.
Well, I hope this introduction helped as I believe I've covered a good bit of stuff, but as always feel free to ask questions. Just so that I know that you got here and are ready to begin your first assignment, please leave a brief (it can just be your signature if you want) message below. Thanks. This is just a brief message that includes my signature :)--OdranoellutaTalk 22:26, March 21, 2012 (UTC)
