The Abandoned Village was a deserted village west of the Wilderness of Baghdad in the 860s.
History
In the 860s, the Hidden One Basim Ibn Ishaq travelled by the village and talked with one of the remaining villagers Ma'bad. They both conversed about the village being under attack by an evil spirit, a Si'la. However, after Basim investigated the villages and the bodies, he deduced that the bodies he found were dead due to a fatal poison they stole from passing Chinese merchants. Ma'bad revealed he planned the robbery and then realized what he had done. Ma'bad was left to reflect on his actions while Basim left him.[1] While there, Basim also solved one of the Enigmas and found the treasure south of the village.[2]
