Kaniehtí:io was noted in the ADB to be the daughter of a Clan Mother, but there's no confirmation on whether the one we meet in the game is the same as the one mentioned in the ADB. The title Oia:ner is used in this article like it is the name of this character, which it is not. To say "Oiá:ner was the Clan Mother of the Kanien'kehá:ka village of Kanatahséton" is redundant, as oia:ner and clan mother mean the same thing.
