Talk:Egyptian Assassin (1250)
Conjectural name
Isn't there a better conjectural name we can come up with for this character? I remember that there was a misconception that we have a standard for disambiguating terms to be the date the individual appears, which is not true at all. I think this misconception began with Mentor (2000), but in that case, the disambiguating term being a date makes sense because one of the distinguishing traits of the character is that he was the Mentor in 2000. I think that in most cases, such as with this Egyptian Assassin here, using a date as the disambiguating term is quite awkward. So, isn't there a better name we can think of for him? I think even just "Mamluk Assassin" would be better although I don't know if that is misleading. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 18:18, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
- I'm gonna go on a limb and guess he's not Mamluk, cause when he hands off the scepter he says "Here is the Scepter of Aset... It is yours, Mamluk! Put it to good use." There really isn't much more we know about him, he literally only has two others lines, which were "Sorry. I had to overcome a number of... obstacles." (a response to "you're late") and "I will live." (a response to "you're hurt"). - Soranin (talk) 18:27, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
