Just a Suggestion...

This is just a suggestion, but concerning Aveline's mixed heritage, Creole would be a more concise term, since it is a person who is of French and African American ancestry like she. And a trivia piece could be that she resembles a pirate in some instances and her name is similar to Eveline Guerra's from AC: Revelations, and she too is a pirate.
