Talk:Alexander the Great
Not Greek
Where is this information coming from that he was somehow Greek? He was born to Macedonian parents and was a Prince of Macedon. 22:58, December 6, 2010 (UTC) 70.160.99.253

It helps keep track of who is talking. :) Second, Macedon IS in Greece, and was a part of the Greek empire for some period of time. Also, Olympias was from Epirus, another kingdom/region of Greece (near the Albany boarder), not Macedon. -- A Black Rabbit 23:11, December 6, 2010 (UTC)
- ---What "Greek Empire" are you talking about? The Macedonian one under Alexander?
Actually, there was no such thing as Greek empire then. Just like in italia, they had states in a seperate region. The most know were Macedonia, Athens Sparta Troy( Tria in Greek, the city of the son) and Axaioi, the Greek, i don't know how you call most of these cities in English, i am Greek but i live in US :D
O and yeah alexander, who almost conquered the world then, he was a macedonian, which was one of the most powerfull citys ever existex and he was the best fighter known in the balkans and the mediterranean.
