Ōtomo Yoshishige (1530 – 1587), also known as Ōtomo Sōrin, was a Japanese daimyō from the island of Kyūshū. He was one of the warlords who converted to Christianity following contact with the Jesuits.[1]

In 1587,[2] Yoshishige, seeing his clan losing battles to the Shimazu clan, asked Toyotomi Hideyoshi to intervene, leading to Hideyoshi's Kyūshū Campaign.[1]
