The Zealots were powerful warriors who operated in Anglo-Saxon England during the 9th century. They served as the secretive enforcers for the Order of the Ancients. helping them to assist and enforce their decrees throughout England. The Zealots have been devoted to the Order of the Ancients for most of their lives. They spend their time wandering the earth in search of anyone who attempts to cross the Order of the Ancients.
Each of the Zealots had undergone unique training regimens from various ancient warrior schools within the Anglian, Saxon, and Brittonic warrior codes. Most of the Zealots even upheld the pagan beliefs of the Order of Ancients, such as practicing seidr or druidic mysticism, which were common amongst the pagan tribes of England. Despite strictly being the fanatical foot soldiers of the Order, some Zealots have somehow developed unusual complicated friendships with some members of the Order of the Ancients.
With the assistance of the Hidden Ones Hytham and Basim Ibn Ishaq, the Viking Eivor worked to hunt down in order to obtain clues on the identity of the Order members.[1]
