Yuri Petrovich Figatner

Yuri Petrovich Figatner (1889 – 1937) was a Soviet party functionary under the regime of Joseph Stalin and a member of the Templar Order. After the Templars infiltrated the Politburo, Figatner was assigned to head a special government commission to investigate the Russian Academy of Sciences and purge it of "counter-revolutionaries", turning the Academy into a Stalinist organization. Many Assassins, who were allowed to make use of the Academy's facilities under Lenin's regime, and scientists loyal to the Assassin cause were subsequently killed or forced into hiding.
