Yanli was a Chinese merchant who lived in the Norse settlement of Ravensthorpe in England during the 9th century.

Biography

Early life

Born in Zhangzhou during the Tang dynasty, Yanli set sail with merchants and traveled to England. She left behind all her family and friends.^[1]
