Wiccan's Cave

Wiccan's Cave was a cave inhabited by Picts, who used it as a passage through the mountains, in 9th century Eurvicscire.
History
In 876, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan followed Faravid and his men to Wiccan's Cave, when they were after the Picts. Faravid insisted that Eivor make her way inside and looked for any Picts or passage. Through her twists and turns, Eivor came across two Pict warriors having a conversation about why they raid and their camp, Stenwege Camp. However, Eivor went and killed the warriors and picked a note from one of them. The note specified that the Picts were receiving help from an unknown party.[1]
Afterwards, Eivor found her way out and met with Faravid on the other side. Speaking with Faravid, Eivor divulged that the camp's name and Faravid deduced that their chief may be in its vicinity. Within their conversation, another Pict warrior noticed them and ran towards their camp. Faravid asked Eivor to hunt down the scout before he made it back to Stenwege.[1]
Through her travels, Eivor further investigated Wiccan's Cave and found another structure, which was locked off. In front of this structure, a tablet about the "The Crock and the Dish of Rhygenydd the Cleric" was read by Eivor as she probed the area even further. From her search, Eivor blew up openings with explosives and destroyed barred doors to get inside the locked structure. After dealing with wild chickens and wild boars, Eivor went inside and collected a tablet.[2]
