Wealdmaer (died 870s) also known as Geld-Remover, was a Zealot of the Order of the Ancients.

Biography

At some point in his life, Wealdmaer was recruited into the Order of the Ancients for his exceptional combat skills, working as a Zealot for his masters, patrolling Sciropescire. He was also a close companion of The Dart, whom he would often join in games of chess.

Sometime around 870, during one of his patrols, Wealdmaer encountered the Viking Eivor of the Raven Clan. They engaged in combat, Wealdmaer fighting with his spear, but the Zealot was unable to best Eivor and was killed in combat. With his final words, he declared that it was an honor to be killed by someone like Eivor, and that he had no regrets.
