Warren

Warren was a farmer and the husband of Prudence. They both resided within the Davenport Homestead during the American Revolution.

Biography

Meeting Connor

Warren and his wife were both found by the Assassin Connor while they were being harassed by British soldiers for not giving up their produce on their small farm in the Frontier. On his intervention, Connor saved the couple from the troops, before he invited them to live at the Davenport Homestead, as their animals had been slaughtered and their land, salted.

Life on the Homestead

It was later made apparent by Prudence that the couple were having fertility problems, as she had been exploring the Homestead's forests towards the night-time for evening primrose. These ventures soon led into trouble, however, as Warren requested Connor's assistance in searching for her, which led to the Assassin killing a wild bear before it could harm Prudence on discovering her location.

After the event, however, as luck would have it, Prudence soon became pregnant. With the couple expecting a child, it resulted in the introduction of Dr. Lyle White to the Homestead, as he had been having trouble securing patients and was previously Warren and Prudence's doctor, located in Boston.

Nine months later, Connor came across Prudence by the roadside, and discovered that she had gone into labor, her waters broken. In a desperate rush via horseback, Connor gathered both Lyle and Warren and brought the pair to Prudence's side, where Warren witnessed the birth of his son, Hunter.

Later on, he and his wife provided the food for the marriage of Norris and Myriam, while the other Homestead residents also played their part, and later celebrated in "The Mile's End." He was also present at the funeral of Achilles Davenport, and laid a rose on his grave, while also conducting the Sign of the Cross.

Trivia

  • Warren was a religious man, having conducted the Sign of the Cross during Achilles' funeral.
  • When Warren wished to give Prudence a gift, he went to "The Mile's End", where Oliver suggested having Corrine create a squirrel-skin hat for her, but Warren was reluctant, as he didn't think Prudence would enjoy having a wild animal skin on her head.
