Violet Da Costa was an independent contractor working for Abstergo Entertainment alongside Juhani Otso Berg, whose job included reviewing Genetic memories for viruses. When a research analyst triggered a virus while exploring the memories of Shay Cormac, she was tasked with overseeing the same analyst as they dug deeper into the memories.
