Tove

Tove was a Viking and a member of the Raven Clan who lived during the 9th century. She was the adopted daughter of Svend, a barber who worked as a tattooist for the clan.

Biography

In 872, upon Eivor's return to Fornburg from a botched attempt to eliminate Kjotve the Cruel,^[1] Tove requested her to teach her the art of archery. As gratitude, Tove gave her a new tattoo design that she made.^[2]

A year later, Tove, along with Svend and numerous other Raven Clan members, accompanied Eivor and her brother Sigurd to England to start a new life.^[3]
