Tom.

Tom was, as of 2012, a member of the Assassin Order, who made the Animus in the Assassin hideout with Lucy Stillman's help.

When Lucy and Desmond Miles arrived at the hideout, they were joined by Michael, who went into a rampage after he was rejected to be in the Animus, in favor of Desmond. Michael kicked Tom in the stomach, and was about to kill Tom and Desmond with his hidden blade. However, he was eventually knocked out by Lucy, after which Tom, Lucy and Herman Geier proceeded to monitor Desmond's time in the Animus while viewing the memories of his ancestor Ezio Auditore da Firenze.
