The Theatre Troupe of Amiens was a French acting troupe that traveled throughout Europe in the 18th century.

History

In the late 1790s, the troupe was set to perform "The Barber of Seville" in northeastern Le Marais, but tensions rose between the troupe actors. The lead actor Barto coerced fellow actress Rose into sex in exchange for her own lead parts. Her abusive husband and second lead Laurent found out about the affair and went to kill Barto. Realizing Laurent's intent, Rose told her brother Ficarron, who promised to handle the situation. At a nearby café, Ficarron let Barto die at Laurent's hands with the razor blade outside. Inside Barto's apartment and with the blade, Ficarron killed Laurent.[1]

During his investigation of both bodies, the French Assassin Arno Dorian investigated the crime and questioned the remaining troupe actors and café owner. Arno rightfully accused Ficarron, who admitted in killing Laurent to protect his sister and letting Barto die. Arno later took him to jail.[1]
