Takahara Village

Takahara Village is a village in western Kii, Japan.

History

In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki members and samurai Yasuke arrived in Takahara Village to seek out any information about Kimura Kei. Inside a local inn, he came across an Oda rōnin who recognized the samurai. The rōnin admitted of hearing about Kimura Kei and how his recruiter Kumabe Ujiie was working to find any lost soldier at Okunoin Cemetery. Before he left, Yasuke was warned that Kei was creating a new army of relentess warriors.[1] At some point, he and fellow Kakushiba ikki returned and infiltrated the elder's house and established a kakurega in the village.[2]
