- "Tell Stella Crow that the Assassin's Brotherhood does not encourage rivalry between its members!"
- ―Shaun Hastings to Jonathan Hawk
Stella Crow was a member of the modern-day Assassins and a descendant of Lugos[1]. She oversaw a cell of Assassins based in London, of which Jonathan Hawk was also a member.
Biography
Very little was known about Crow's background. In October 2012, during a session in the Animus, she discovered the existence of the Sceptre of Aset, or Piece of Eden #24, which was given to the Mamluks of Egypt in the thirteenth century.
After a brief phone call with Shaun Hastings, she told Jonathan Hawk to go to Monteriggioni in Italy to get "File 24", which held a connection with the Sceptre, and sent it back immediately.
A few days later, when Hawk had returned to London, Assassins under Stella's command followed a short break in the Animus made by Hawk, the latter visiting the genetic memory of its Egyptian ancestor of the fourteenth century, El Cakr. But while Stella had entrusted the supervision to Nancy Hawk a serious incident occurred; Jonathan had a stroke and was brought directly to the emergency room. The incident happened as the timer that Nancy had installed on the Animus had exceeded the usual 15 minutes, having deregulated astonishment, causing problems that led to the crisis. Stella severely reprimanded Nancy, while Steve, another member, tried to defend her.
Trivia
- Stella is probably a descendant of the Assassin Lugos according to her, the founder of Liberalis Circulum. But despite all the time she spent in the Animus, it has never managed to establish contact with the memories of Lugos.
