The Stable of Ares

The Stable of Ares was a stable located north of the dromos in Elis, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War, the stable was in the possession of the military and was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1] It was the place where a military commander had left Thespis' cheaper wine after commandeering it, the other place being Demiurgi Fort.[2][3]
