Silas Thatcher

Silas Thatcher (1720 - 1754) was a high-ranking officer of the British Army, and a prolific slave trader.
While posted at Southgate Fort in Boston, he dealt in slave trade and would receive deliveries of prisoners. In 1754, one such caravan, full of Mohawks, was commandeered by Haytham Kenway and his men as a means to enter the Fort. Silas was subsequently cornered and executed by Benjamin Church, on of Haytham's attack force, shortly thereafter.
