Shieldbreaker

Shieldbreaker was a battleaxe belonging to Eivor Varinsdottir, a Viking shieldmaiden from the Raven Clan.^[1]

Custom made to easily split shields and armor, the axe saw much use as Eivor lead a group of Raven Clan Vikings in a series of raids across Rygjafylke, Norway against Kjotve the Cruel's clan.^[2]

An unusually heavy-bladed fighting axe custom made for Eivor. It is particularly effective against shields and armor.

The weapon is classified as a hammer in game, as it uses the hammer animations rather than those of an axe.

The axe design is based on the Flawless model of Varin's Axe, Eivor's starting weapon in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla.
