Shay Cormac’s mother immigrated to America with the rest of the Cormac family from Dublin and settled in New York City. She became pregnant by her husband and gave birth to Shay on 1731 September 12,. Unfortunately, she died during childbirth, and as a result, Shay grew up without his mother.[1]
