The Scorched Rolling Plains

The Scorched Rolling Plains were the plains which made up a region of Boeotia, Greece. Located south of Lake Kopais, the plains bore the brunt of the Xerxes I of Persia' invasion, and scars of it still remained by the time of the Peloponnesian War.

During the Peloponnesian War the region was explored by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.
