San Gimignano is one of the many cities in the Tuscany countryside. It is characterized by tall towers that resemble skyscrapers which gave it the nickname of "Medieval Manhattan". It was essentially a medieval fortress with numerous watch towers and monasteries. The look of San Gimignano resembles that of the first game. It is described as the best place to do free running in the game because of the buildings similar heights. San Gimignano contains one Assassin's tomb.

Minor Missions

  • Don't Get your Hands Dirty (DNA Sequence 5) This is an assassination mission received from a pigeon box. Your task is to have 4 guards killed without killing them yourself. It can be very difficult because several of the guards are on towers and mercinaries and thieves cannot climb tower walls.
