Runa Egilsdottir was a Viking leader of a group of Norse warriors in 9th century Cent, England.

Biography

Not much is known about Runa Egilsdottir, except that she found herself to be in charge of a collective of Norse warriors.[1]

Runa Egilsdottir was first seen captured alongside her soldiers, by the Hidden One Basim Ibn Ishaq and the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir, who came to free them. Runa and her warriors were soon freed by Eivor and Basim, who asked for her aid to invade Rouecistre Fortress, but Runa admitted that her small remaining clan would not be enough to overtake the fortress. Runa was asked for her supply of armor and weapons from her fallen warriors, but Runa replied with a staunch opposition to using their weapons.[1]

A reluctant Runa was convinced by Basim that their weapons would enact vengeance against their killers. Runa aided that she has a fleet but it remained halted by Rouecistre Blockade. As Eivor agreed to help, Runa was asked to ride to Abbot Cynebert about his timely arrival after the assault on the fortress.[1]
