Ruisseau du Renard was a forested area and a French outpost located in the northwest area of River Valley in New York.

History

Ruisseau du Renard is populated by deers and foxes, from which it received its name. Due to its abundance of the species, hunters would visit the area and provide challenges.

During the Seven Years' War, the French constructed an outpost for supplies in the area. The Colonial Assassins' gang also built a small camp at the edge of Ruisseau du Renard. Sometime in the mid-18th century, the Templar Shay Cormac visited the creek to raid the French outpost to gain supplies for his ship, the Morrigan and also complete the hunting challenge.

Trivia

  • "Ruisseau du Renard" means "Fox Creek" in English.
