Robert Fitzwalter

Robert Fitzwalter (died 1235) was the baron of the village of Little Dunmow in Essex, England, and the leader of the English Brotherhood of Assassins during the early 13th century.
Biography
Campaign against King John
Around 1215, Robert was responsible for starting a campaign to unite the English Barons against the despotic King John. He was formerly an aristocrat and a soldier who had fought for King John during the Wars of Normandy.[1]
Legacy
In 2015, the Templar Isabelle Ardant included his name on a list of known British Assassins. This list was later unveiled by the Assassins Rebecca Crane and Shaun Hastings when they infiltrated Ardant's office to plant a bug.[2]
