Psaros Pyrgos was a cave on the island of Seriphos, Greece. Found at the southwestern tip of the island, this small cave was used as a shrine.
During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place when she met Kallikleia and a Hekate Witch listing to a speach of Aetios, son in a wealthy family.[1]
Trivia
- The name Psaros Pyrgos (Ψαρός Πύργος) means 'Couch of the Cyclops' in Greek.
- The name of the cave is a reference to a tower of marble on the island of Seriphos, in the southwestern corner like this cave, with the same name.
