Pivots were randomly spawning collectible items found in post-revolutionary Colonial America.

• Rho

• Zeta

Upon completing the campaign, the player will have one more objective that leads to an epilogue.  After this, a pivot can be found nearby in Boston. Once collected (by simply walking through it), an Abstergo agent will begin explaining what they can do and how they can be used.  Little of what he says means much; all the pivots really can do is help you find more pivots. 

Trivia

Head in the Cloud achievement icon

• The achievement "Head in the Cloud" could be earned by collecting all pivots.
• Each time Connor collected a pivot, a new cheat would unlock.
