Pirates of Nightmares is a planned video game to be released by Abstergo Entertainment and Ubisoft, utilising the genetic memories of the pirate-turned-Assassin Edward Kenway, albeit sufficiently censored so as to remove certain details, to provide the necessary footage.

A primer for the film promises to show the truth about the 18th century; removing any mention of the protagonists Assassin allegiance, or the Observatory.
