Description
Dialogue
Ratonhnhaké:ton walked in on Franklin trying to pry the horseshoe loose. As he spoke, Franklin looked up briefly but did not stop loosening the horseshoe.
- Ratonhnhaké:ton: Sam and Kanen'tó:kon have gone with what's left of the men to Boston Neck. I hope they make it. We should join them as soon as we can.
Franklin finally wrenched the horseshoe off the horse's hoof and the two began walking towards the furnace that Franklin prepared earlier.
- Franklin: First, I must melt this down. Then I need the diagram of my design. I left it with an officer as a kind of insurance policy. He can always be found at the tavern. Get that and I can file this shape to the correct precision.
Ratonhnhaké:ton nodded and eventually made his way into the tavern. As soon as he entered, Bluecoats began eyeing him suspiciously, forcing Ratonhnhaké:ton to blend in quickly.
- Bluecoats: Look at that outfit.
Ratonhnhaké:ton found the officer sitting at a table with a checkerboard. He took a seat across the officer.
- Ratonhnhaké:ton: Benjamin Franklin sent me to you.
- Officer: Sorry, my friend. You want something, you've got to beat me.
- Ratonhnhaké:ton: I do not have a lot of time.
- Officer: That's my condition.
- Ratonhnhaké:ton: Very well, but let's make it quick.
As the Officer and Ratonhnhaké:ton played, the Officer began to suggest that Boston Neck and the game were traps.
- Officer: Did you hear about the little fracas went down tonight?
