Phaistos Theater

The Phaistos Theater was a theater in the ancient polis of Phaistos on Greek island of Krete.

Situated at the heart of the place, it was used for religious ceremonies, political assemblies, and shows involving bulls until the polis was destroyed by the forces of Gortyn. ^{[citation needed]}
