Olivier was a French servant and valet to the Marquis de Sade.
Biography
During the employment to the Marquis de Sade, Olivier gradually became disgusted and angered against his employer, due to his acts of vile sexual behavior. One moment, he was contacted by Louis Antoine de Saint-Just to frame de Sade for murder. Agreeing to help, Olivier took note of de Sade's belongings and equipment. Making copies of his boss' items, he set his plan into motion and went to the brothel to meet Suzanna, a prostitute well-acquainted with the marquis.[1]
Alone with Suzanna, Olivier immediately attacked Suzanna, then bounded and tortured the woman, and then killed her. Placing the replicas and de Sade's diary in the room, Olivier quickly fled the scene and left false evidence to prove de Sade was the killer. However, his frame job was investigated the French Assassin Arno Dorian. Arno soon found Olivier's correspondence with Saint-Just and how he bought the replicas. After being accused, Olivier was taken to jail by Arno for his crime.[1]
