Animus host
An Animus host[1] is the simulated individual who an Animus user, called an Animus Subject if officially part of Abstergo Industries' Animus Project, is embodying. Earlier versions of the Animus required the user to be a descendant of the host,[2] however as technology progressed that requirement was no longer a factor.[3] Within the Brahman V.R. framework the host is called a Witness, further categorized as Ancestors who are related to the user and Echoes unrelated individuals whose DNA data may be cobbled together via fragmentary genetic sources and Animus algorithms.[4]
Known Hosts
Over the course of the Animus lifetime there have been many users who volunteerd or were either forced to go inside the Animus. Here we make a list of known users that are confirmed to have used the Animus at some point in time.
