Animus Project Update 2.0 is the second downloadable content pack for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, focusing on the game's multiplayer mode. It is free, and it is available as of January 19, 2011. It includes a new multiplayer map, the hill-top village Pienza, and a new multiplayer mode, Chest Capture. Chest Capture is a variation on the Capture the Flag mode, where you will be tasked with stealing treasure chests from opposing teams, and protecting your own.

Trivia

  • With the addition of this second multiplayer DLC, come DLC restrictions, allowing only one of the two free DLC packs to be switched on. Due to this feature, Chest Capture cannot be played in Mont Saint-Michel.
