Nigel Bumble was a member of the Assassin-affiliated gang called the Rooks which were active in the 19th century.
Sometime in Victorian London, Nigel decided to stalk Agnes MacBean, who worked with the Rooks in their hideout, to gain information on the gang he desperately wanted to join. However, Agnes caught the boy stalking her and sought help from the Assassin Frye twins to lure Nigel to their private train hideout. Unfortunately, Nigel had inadvertently alerted the rival Templar-affiliated gang Blighters of Agnes' association and begun to attack the woman. The Fryes managed to eliminate the threat and with Agnes, captured Nigel who identified himself and his purpose. Agnes allowed her to join the gang as her helper in tidying up the train.
