Melanippos' Camp was a camp set up by bandits in Mycenaean ruins on the eastern shore of Lake Kopais in Boeotia, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War the camp served as the base of operations for the slaver Galeos, and it was infiltrated by the Spartan misthios Kassandra around 428 BCE, as the physician Hippokrates had asked her to free Galeos' victims.[1]

Trivia

  • The name of the camp references Melanippos, a figure in Greek mythology.
