Andromeda is the princess of Ethiopia in Greek mythology.

Andromeda is best known for how she was tied to a rock, naked, only to be rescued by the legendary hero Perseus.[1]

  • Andromeda, meaning 'ruler of men', is a name which is derived from the Greek words ἀνήρ, ἀνδρός (anēr, andrós), meaning 'man', and medon meaning 'ruler'.
