Mafdet
Mafdet was a goddess in Egyptian mythology.
Mythology
Mafdet was a goddess who was said to protect people against snake bites and scorpions. She was the protector of sun god Ra from threats on his voyages, and also protected Osiris when he was seperated into pieces. She was often depicted wearing a cheetah skin.[1]
Legacy
In the 1st century BCE, a temple dedicated to Mafdet was long since abandoned and turned to ruins. Medjay Bayek of Siwa visited the ruins and claimed some treasures within.
