Lincoln during the 9th century

Lincoln is the county town of Lincolnshire in the East Midlands of England. [1]

Behind the scenes

Lincoln is a location in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. According to narrative director Darby McDevitt, the town and Lincolnshire was the first area the development team built and the first long-form story they wrote for Vahalla.[2]

The main gatehouse appears to be inspired by Porta Nigra in Trier, Germany.
