Linco was a male half-jötnar and half-dwarf and a son of famed dwarven explorer Travi.

Biography

Linco was born to notable dwarven traveler Travi and a female Jötunn and had multiple siblings, including a dwarven brother Mikke. While living in Svartálfaheimr, he saw his brother Mikke taken into Muspel custody at Feigardr during Surtr's invasion. Planning to save him, Linco planted a "mighty" hammer, changed into his dwarf form, and shouted out false lies to entice the Æsir lord Havi. Fortunately, Havi passed by and helped Linco to retrieve the hammer. However, while tricking Havi to inspect the hammer, Linco knocked him out because he determined that Havi could pass through lava.[1]

Linco gave Havi to the Muspels at Feigardr, where the Æsir lord was placed in a cell next to Mikke's. Linco waited on a cliff for them and then saw Havi rowing a boat with his brother aboard. When they arrived at the cliff, Linco embraced his brother and thanked Havi for rescuing Mikke.[1]
