Labrador

Labrador is the North American mainland which forms part of the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

History

During the Seven Years' War, the island of Newfoundland was considered more strategically important than the peninsula of Labrador, from which it is separated by a strait. Even so, the British still desired control over its rich fishing waters. Colonial Templar Shay Cormac, aboard his vessel the Morrigan, was instrumental in the victory over the French in the Battle of Labrador.
